Introduction

Holidays are special celebrations which are held around the world. In these occasions, people remember important events in their countries. This Webquest was created to help students from 9th grade (14-15 years old) to get data about different cultures and how they celebrate each day. In fact, students will have the opportunity to improve their basic skills (speaking, reading, & writing). So, which is your favorite holiday? How do you celebrate it? Well, you will discover more information during this Web quest.

The Task

The job of each group is:

1.Choose a holiday from 3 different continents, compare and contrast those celebrations to see which differences/similarities they have.

2.Then, use the information from above to create your own holiday with the characteristic that you liked the most from those continents.
